Kona Whale Watching Tours

Kona whale watching tours look for humpback whales along the Kona coast. Humpbacks are in Hawaiian waters during the winter months to give birth to their calves and to mate. Observing these gentle giants taking care of their newborn calves is nothing short of amazing!

Calves surface to breathe three times as often as their adult counterparts. An adult humpback whale typically surfaces approximately every 10 to 15 minutes.

To witness the humpback whales breaching out of the water is spectacular!

During the whale watching season in Hawaii, whale sightings are nearly a sure thing, with a roughly 90% success rate.
