Captain Chad

Captain Chad was born far from the sea, in a small cowboy town in California.  His family moved to the Big Island when he was very young.  He was raised in Ka'aloa, in the North Kona district where he attended school at Kealakehe.

The ocean has always had a powerful pull on him. Much to his mother's dismay, there were many days he skipped school to surf, fish and free dive.  Throughout his youth, Captain Chad deck-handed for many of the local fishermen and spent all his free time fishing, hunting, surfing, rodeoing and playing soccer and football.  He dreamed of growing up and working on the water.  His dream was fulfilled when he earned his Captain's license.

There is also his loyal dog, two crazy cats, trouble-making goat and a tribe of wild chickens who provide his family with fresh eggs.  He enjoys spending time with his family and friends; riding his Harley, archery, hunting and fishing.

He has a great love and respect for the ocean.  Now, he wishes to bring this love to all his guests by helping them discover the wonders of the sea, like Whale Sharks, Dolphins, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles and Manta Rays.
